Let's gather around the fire to celebrate the darkest day of the year and the coming of the light with community, connection and singing! The song circle ceremony will be from 5-7:30pm. 7:30-9pm will be for basking in the twinkling lights, socializing, snacks and tea! Feel free to attend either or both portions of the evening.
All are welcome.
This event will be held in a private outdoor space. Please wear weather appropriate clothes and feel free to dress up but only if it feels fun.
To Know the Dark - Wendell Berry
To go in the dark with a light is to know the light.
To know the dark, go dark. Go without sight,
and find that the dark, too, blooms and sings,
and is traveled by dark feet and dark wings.
A portion of all donations will be given to the Tongva Taraxat Paxaavxa Conservancy to support the original stewards of the land we sing on.
